About Ms. Nettie...
Lynette "Ms. Nettie" Patterson is the definition of a born and bred native Texas woman. When Ms. Nettie is not leading Praise & Worship, she is Speaking, Ministering, Teaching, and Writing Devotionals for Java with Jesus. Ms. Nettie believes in the Power of Prayer and always seeks to intercede as a Prayer Warrior.
Ms. Nettie lives on her 60 acre farm, tending to her goats, horses, chickens and the family garden, which the Lord uses her to share Java and Jesus with others. One of her life verses is God has said, “Never will I leave or forsake thee.”
Nettie was saved at the young age of 15, but it wasn't until 2008 when she was laid up in bed, that she completely surrendered to the calling God had put on her life. In the summer of 2008 Nettie was thrown from a horse, and broke her pelvis in 3 places. Sometimes God will do whatever it takes to get your eyes off your life and put the focus where it truly needs to be, on Him. Nettie was on her back for 12 weeks, and the only way she could look was UP. As the Lord began to draw, her prayer life grew and she began to get deeper into His word, and began to spend more quiet time with Jesus like never before. Soon after, Nettie developed fibromyalgia. God led her to begin a Ministry for other women who also suffered from chronic illnesses called Angel Hugs Ministry which lasted 3 years.
It was after the passing of her son Chris, that God began to use that experience to share through speaking as a testimony of how the Holy Spirit moved those last three days of his life. How people were drawn to salvation, how a family with a broken relationship was restored. The faith she and her husband have in the Lord allowed them to minister to so many of his friends, the Tattoo Community and family members who were having a difficult time coping with the fact that Chris was preparing to go to Glory.
Nettie and her husband Pat have been married for 43 years, and has two children, Kelley her daughter and Chris her son who crossed to Glory at the age of 37. Nettie is known as “GaGa” to her 4 wonderful GBaby Loves ❤️.
